How we work
Sources, context and honest limits belong alongside every explanation.
What we publish
We publish educational guides for adults about health concerns, everyday care and questions to discuss with a clinician. The content is not a diagnostic service, prescribing service or individualized medical advice.
Where information comes from
Guides use public health agencies, medical organizations, medical reference libraries and prescribing information. Links appear in the relevant sections and in the sources at the end. A product listing can describe availability, but does not establish whether a treatment is appropriate.
Bylines and responsibility
Author profiles identify the publication team responsible for a subject area. We do not claim personal medical qualifications, clinical experience or independent medical review that has not been established. These guides have not been medically reviewed by a licensed clinician.
Dates and updates
The publication and modification dates refer to the version of the guide on this website. A modification date changes when the material is revised; it is not refreshed automatically each day. A source may change after publication, so readers should check the original reference when making a decision.
Commercial independence
The current guides do not contain paid treatment referrals or affiliate purchase links. If commercial relationships are introduced, relevant disclosures should appear with the affected material. Payment must not be described as evidence of medical suitability.
Images and examples
Images illustrate topics and everyday situations. People pictured are not presented as patients, clinicians endorsing the site or members of the publication team. Image source and license links are available in each guide.
Corrections
Tell us which page is affected, the statement in question and the source that helps clarify it. Feedback is assessed against the original evidence and the context of the guide.
